MAINTENANCE
In short, your VCT floor should be cleaned (autoscrubbed) nightly and be stripped and waxed quarterly. Daily maintenance includes sweeping and dust mopping to prevent damage to the finish. You’ll want to use an auto scrubber with a ph-neutral cleaner to remove any particulates. Rinse with clean water and let dry.
Periodically, you will need to strip off the wax with a non-aggressive stripping agent and apply 5 to 10 coats of wax. If this isn’t done properly you risk potential tile damage and may need to replace the floor.
